Fola Laoye is co-Founder and CEO of Iwosan Investments Limited, a Health Investments Holding Company, dedicated to investing in Healthcare Infrastructure across Nigeria. She has extensive experience, having been an Operator and Investor in the space over the past 22 years.
She is a founding board member of Hygeia Group Nigeria, where she held various leadership roles over 18 years including CEO (2002-2012) and Chairperson (2012-2015).
She is Chairperson of the boards of Old Mutual Life Assurance and FSDH Asset Management. Her philanthropic roles include being a member of Harvard Business School Africa Advisory Board and she is also a member of the Africa Regional Board of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO).
She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. She is a Chartered Accountant and is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
In 2011, Fola was nominated as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum and in 2013 she was awarded the Harvard Business School Africa Business Club Leadership Excellence Award.
